Assistant Teacher
Assistant Teachers work under the direct supervision of a Certified or Lead Teacher. They are responsible for working with the team to implement educationally enriched programs, which are appropriate to the developmental needs of the children they serve. Assistant Teachers help children explore their interests, develop their talents and independence, instill self-esteem, help build children's identity and learn how to get along with others in a biblical worldview. Assistant Teachers must be reliable, enthusiastic and constantly alert.
Qualifications
Department of Early Education and Care Assistant Teacher Qualified: High School Diploma or equivalent, At least 16 Years Old, maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification, must be able to lift 35 lbs., and move freely from a sitting position on floor to standing. Must be able to stand or sit for extended amounts of time when required during outside time/ activity time.
Teacher
Teachers work under the direct supervision of a Lead Teacher and takes on responsibility for leading the group when the Lead Teacher is out of the classroom. They are responsible for working with the team to implement educationally enriched programs, which are appropriate to the developmental needs of the children they serve. Teachers help children explore their interests, develop their talents and independence, instill self-esteem, help build children's identity, and teach cooperation in a loving and caring manner. Teachers must be reliable, enthusiastic and constantly alert.

Lead Teachers act as the primary caregivers and educators of the children assigned to them. They are responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of educationally and spiritually enriched programs, which are appropriate to the developmental needs of the children they serve. Teachers help children explore their interests, develop their talents and independence, instill self-esteem, help build children's identity and teach cooperation in a loving and caring manner. Teachers must be reliable, enthusiastic and constantly alert.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
Department of Early Education and Care Lead Teacher Qualified.
Obtain CPR and First Aid Certification within 6 months and maintain during employment. Must be able to lift 35 lbs., and move freely from a sitting position on floor to standing. Must be able to stand or sit for extended amounts of time when required during outside time/activity time.
