OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM

The establishment of Upton’s Little Saints Christian Preschool was a dream of its creators for many years. The desire to create a program that offered the academic benefits of a center-based school with the nurturing and family atmosphere of a home-based daycare. It was from this hope that Upton’s Little Saints Christian Preschool was born.

Miss Alicia has a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Education. She taught in center-based preschools for over 20 years. In all that time she never forgot growing up in a house where her mother ran a home daycare. The children in her mother’s care became more than students, they became family, many of whom she is still in contact with to this day.

It has been scientifically proven that children flourish in nurturing family environments. Upton’s Little Saints is bringing proven academic instruction home to an environment where your child is not just another name in an endless string of students who rotate through a center school, but to a place where you and your child are family.

Program Administrator

Jessie had 15 years of direct care and management experience for a local human service agency before Alicia approached her about opening a Preschool.  She grew up in the same family daycare with Alicia, where their mother instilled in them the importance of caring for others. Jessie was excited to help Alicia start up her very own Preschool. Over the years Little Saints has grown in size capacity and staffing, and has made many upgrades to the building and playground. Jessie is so grateful to have met so many amazing families through her work for Upton’s Little Saints Christian Preschool and she looks forward to many more years of service to the community.

OUR PURPOSE

The purpose of Upton’s Little Saints Christian Preschool is a sound academic education, integrated with a Christian view of God and the world within a warm, caring family environment. Our emphasis is on providing a basic Christian philosophy of love as an approach to life. Both the Old and New Testaments emphasize that instructing, training, and nurturing is to begin at an early age. Jesus said, “Suffer the little children to come to me…” Luke 18:16. We live in an economy that forces an increasing number of parents to seek child-care facilities for their children. At Little Saints, your child will be in a nurturing, academic, family environment to teach them a lifelong love of learning. From the youngest to the oldest, a primary purpose of Upton’s Little Saints Christian Preschool will be to model and teach the caring love of Jesus to each individual.

OUR PURPOSE & BELIEFS

Upton’s Little Saints Christian Preschool provides a safe, secure, and stimulating environment where children experience God’s love while building a strong academic foundation. Our mission is to offer high-quality education integrated with a Christian worldview in a warm and caring family setting.

We believe that both the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, revealing the three persons of the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the Incarnation and the virgin birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as the true God and true man. Mankind was created in the image of God but is separated from Him by sin, and we are redeemed through faith in Christ’s atonement on the Cross. We believe eternal life is available to all who receive Christ by faith and are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Additionally, we believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ, His imminent return, and the resurrection of His people.

We respect the diverse beliefs of our community and kindly ask that all families honor our Christian foundation while on our premises.

Our classrooms are led by qualified, experienced professionals who are passionate about child development. All teachers are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care and hold First Aid and CPR certifications. We are dedicated to providing positive, consistent guidance tailored to each child's unique developmental needs.

At Upton’s Little Saints, we don’t just educate children; we nurture their hearts, minds, and spirits, helping them grow into confident, kind, and faith-filled individuals.
